Practice approach

Having a child is the closest a person can come to having their actual heart existing and beating outside of their body. Parents are uniquely tuned into our children’s worlds, and we are usually the first to notice an emerging issue, or just generally if something feels a bit “off” in a child’s level or pace of development. Pinpointing the exact problem can be a frustrating maze that makes an already stressful period even more so. This is where I come in.

I help families figure out what’s going on. That starts with listening to you, to your child, and to what your gut is telling you. I utilize proven, research-backed methods to assess and treat speech and language issues, always keeping your child’s unique background and experience in mind. I’m not here to push a one-size-fits-all plan. My goal is to work with you to find the approach that makes the most sense for your child, your family, and your culture — and to do it with care, honesty, and real support.

evidence + Empathy

Creating a plan that works for you

My approach is rooted in empathy, honesty, and personal connection. Families need facts and action, and so I work to build trust and create a warm, supportive space where children feel understood and valued. By involving parents and tailoring strategies to each child’s unique needs, I empower families to play an active role in their child’s journey.

I also stay grounded in what research shows actually works. Speech therapy is not about following trends or personal hunches. It is about using proven, tested methods that help kids make real progress. I take the time to study the data, keep up with new findings, and make sure everything I do is backed by evidence. That means combining research with real-world experience and the values of each family I work with.
